If you're a solo service provider โ stylist, therapist, dog groomer, mobile detailer, tutor โ you have two booking problems: missed-call no-shows, and the booking app subscription you keep canceling and resubscribing to. This template is one HTML page you embed on your site that shows your available slots, captures client info, sends a confirmation email, and costs $0 a month forever. No Square Booking, no Calendly Pro, no monthly fee. You own the file.
Solo service providers and tiny teams who book by appointment and want to stop relying on a third-party scheduling app that owns their client list. Especially valuable for trades and personal-services businesses that have 5-20 appointments per week and don't justify enterprise software.
1. Choose a service. The client picks from your service menu (haircut / color / wash-and-blow, or whatever you offer). Each service has its duration baked in.
2. Pick a date. The mini calendar shows the next 30 days. Days you're closed are greyed out; days with availability are clickable.
3. Pick a time slot. Once a day is picked, the available slots for that day appear. Slots that are already booked don't show. The service duration is respected โ a 90-minute service won't show in a slot that has only 60 minutes available.
4. Enter contact info. Name, phone, email. Optional notes field for "first-time client" or "allergic to citrus shampoo."
5. Confirm. The form sends them a confirmation email with your address, the time, and a "reschedule or cancel" link that lets them self-serve up to 24 hours before the appointment.
Edit the service menu first. Click into each service name and price to match your offering. Add or remove services until the list matches yours.
Set your working hours per day. Many tools assume 9-5; your reality is probably "Tuesday-Saturday, 10am-7pm with a lunch break." The hours editor lets you set this once and the available-slots logic respects it.
Add buffer time between appointments. Most solo providers need 10-15 minutes to clean up, restock, or breathe. Bake it in or you'll burn out.
Enable the deposit field for services over $100. A $25 non-refundable deposit cuts no-shows in half. The deposit doesn't need to clear via Stripe โ even just "to confirm your appointment, Venmo me $25" reduces no-show rate.
Send a 24-hour text reminder. Email confirmations are great; text reminders are what actually prevent no-shows. Even a manual text the day before recovers most slots that would have ghosted.
Block off prep time before high-attention services. If you're doing color, you need 15 minutes of mixing time before the client sits down. Block it as a "service" the client can't see.
Add a "first-time client" intake question on the form. New clients who write nothing usually no-show. New clients who write 3 lines of context show up at 95% rate.
